Our Year of the Dreamcast continues with a Flea!, a truly unique game from independent developer Lowtek Games. Founded by Alastair Low, the very cleverly named Lowtek promises to produce fun, dyslexia-friendly titles to help dyslexic players enjoy games more.

This “hard as nails” retro platformer sees you controlling Henry, a flea who can’t stop jumping. There is no rest from this fate, only jumping from start to finish. Lowtek describes Flea! as a “hardcore platformer, perfect for speed-runners.” We couldn’t agree more, it really is tough!

Master over 80 levels, meet weird characters, and discover secrets.

Originally released for the NES in 2020, this highly acclaimed platformer is now available for the Sega Dreamcast console. Featuring high quality artwork, two factory pressed discs, and a fine collection of bonus material.

Oh, and one more surprise; that second disc contains the full soundtrack! Listen on your Dreamcast, car stereo (how retro) or CD player!

Indie game fans who have their ears to the ground may have seen Flea! on various YouTube channels, including MetalJesusRocks who called it one of his favourite indie games.

We are happy to announce that WAVE Game Studios will be bringing Flea! to the Dreamcast on 2nd February 2022.

WAVE are an independent video games publisher and distributor, putting indie games onto shelves and into the hands of gamers.
